I love free money :)

So at the beginning of winter semester is the time to fill out all the scholarship applications you can get your hands on. I did. There were a couple School of Family Life applications and the BYU regular financial aid applications, which I fill out every year.
Then it comes to the end of the semester when you expect the results of said scholarships. The SFL results keep getting postponed, and the financial aid results are sent out. Graduation weekend I saw an email notifying me of a message in my "financial center". My first thought, "Well, here is my rejection letter again. And it's not even a real letter!" haha I go to my financial center, open the new message, and what does it say... Surprise!!! I get half tuition for fall and winter semesters from BYU!!!! Woohoo!!!! It made my day, it made my parents day...everyone's happy.
The SFL scholarship results still get postponed, and then postponed, and so I figured I didn't get one. Today in the letter that was forwarded from my old apartment, sent back to the School of Family Life and somehow in the hands of my manager who sees my friend who says she'll bring it to me, I get a scholarship for another $1500 for both fall and winter semesters!!!! The Rosemary Borg Summers Scholarship. I can't even type out how excited I was and still am!!!
So from my crazy hard work these last two semesters to get good grades and excel in my classes for my major, I have tuition and books paid for for my last year of school!!!! It's a wonderful feeling. I hope you can share in my excitement!!
I love free money :)

4 Days of School Left!!!!!

Well, my spring term of classes is coming to an end... :) :) I have loved my classes and what I have been learning, but I am ready to have a life outside of the sewing lab. haha I will be going in later today for sew for 5 hours, this in addition to the 16 hours I have already sewn this week. (Maybe I should get paid for my sewing instead of me paying BYU, then I wouldn't need a job!!! haha) And I have 3 tests to take in the next week and I need to finish my tailoring project. I'll post a picture of it when I am done, I'm way excited!!
Next week the fam is coming to Provo and I am so excited!! This also means that I have an extra busy week, but it's worth it.
Only 4 days!!! I think I can, I think I can!!
